How to Set Up and Give Using the Tithe.ly App

STEP 1

  • Download and install the Tithe.ly App via the App Store on your iPhone/iPad or the Google Play Store on your Android device.

STEP 2

  • Open the Tithe.ly app.
  • Tap Sign Up.
  • Create your account by entering your Name, Email, and Password.
  • Confirm your email if prompted.

STEP 3

  • Tap Give Now.
  • Search for Bethel Baptist Church.
  • Select the correct church from the list.

STEP 4

Enter your donation amount and click Continue to Gift Details.

  • Please see below regarding the Cover Fees option.
  • Select the Fund "General Fund."
  • You may choose to set up the Frequency:
    • One Time
    • Weekly (choose the day of the week to process your gift)
    • Bi-Weekly (choose the day of the week to process your gift)
    • 1st and 15th (choose the Start Date)
    • Monthly (choose the day of the month to process your gift)
  • Choose your Payment Method.
  • There is also an Address line for your address.
  • The last line is the Memo line where you may add a comment.

**Cover the Fees**

"Cover the Fees" is an option that allows donors to increase their total donation by a small percentage to cover the transaction fees (processing fees) associated with their online gift.

If you turn this option off, your full intended donation amount will be decreased by the processing fees.


Processing fees are as follows:

  • 2.9% + $0.30 per successful charge
    • VISA
    • MasterCard
    • Maestro
    • Discover
    • JCB
    • Union Pay
    • Diners
  • 3.5% + $0.30 per successful charge
    • American Express
  • 1% + $0.30 per successful charge
    • ACH / Bank Transfer

STEP 5

  • Tap Give and Confirm your gift.
  • You will receive a confirmation email and receipt.

Under History in the app, you may view your Gifts Given.
