WINGS |
Our ladies with "WINGS" will
be meeting this month on Thursday evening, June 21st, 2007 at
6:30 p.m. at the fellowship hall. A sign-up sheet will be
available in the vestibule. Plan to attend and bring a friend.

YOUTH CHOIR PRACTICE |
Youth choir practice will be
Sunday evening, June 17th, 2007 at 4:45 pm. All are encouraged
to attend and help support the youth.

BENEFIT SUPPER,
SINGING, AND AUCTION
|
There will be a benefit
supper, gospel singing, and auction for Kendahl Tolliver Cooper
at Horace Maynard Middle School on Saturday, June 23rd, 2007
statring at 4:00 pm. Supper will consist of soup beans and
fixin's and/or chicken and dumplings. Singers will be "Joyful
Sound", "The Newcombs", and others. There will also be an
auction with lots of different items. Donations are being
collected for the auction. If you have items you would love to
donate, contact Kathy Satterfield at 216-6373 (cell), 688-5435
(home), or e-mail pokee5942(at)aol.com. Kendahl is Kathy
Satterfield's cousin. She is 21 years old and has been diagnosed
with cancer. She recently had a massive tumor removed from her
lower spine at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville and she has to
return every 3 weeks for chemotherapy which requires a 5-day
stay each time. She will be having a third surgery the last of
June. Please keep Kendahl and her family in your prayers. Make
plans to attend the benefit supper.

VACATION BIBLE
SCHOOL
|
It's round-up time at the
Bethel corral. Vacation Bible School will begin on Monday night,
July 9th at 7pm - 9pm. VBS will continue from July 9th to July
13th. Volunteers are still needed for all departments. Midge
Stephens is the VBS director this year. Sign-up sheets are
available in the vestibule for positions and items and supplies
needed. Invite your friends and family to attend. Bible school
for ALL AGES at Bethel. Adult classes available. Most of all
your prayers are needed.

graduated from kindergarten and his mom, Sondra McGinnis
graduated nursing with a CNA certification. Congratulations!

BETHEL HOMECOMING
DAY
|
Bethel's annual Homecoming
will be Sunday July 8th, 2007. Make plans to attend. There will
be no Sunday School on homecoming day. Services begin at 11am
with dinner in the fellowship hall afterward. Invite friends and
family to join you for this special occasion. The church
provides chicken and ham. You will need to bring covered dishes
and drinks. There will be no evening service that day.

FELLOWSHIP
|
Bethel's regular monthly
"fellowship" will be July 24th, 2007 following the evening
service. Everyone is encouraged to attend and bring a dish and
drinks. Take this opportunity to visit with your church family
and friends.
